Concrete Structural Analysis supports engineering assessments, design verification & structural investigations by providing accurate subsurface information about concrete elements. This data assists engineers in confirming structural attributes, validating load calculations & assessing the condition or performance of existing structures.

Our scanning capabilities allow for the identification of reinforcement patterns, cover depth, bar size, layering, post-tension (PT) duct location & alignment, slab thickness & beam geometry. This information is used to assess structural capacity, confirm construction against design documentation & support decision-making for modifications or change-of-use scenarios.

Concrete cover measurement is increasingly important in managing the risk of reinforcement corrosion, which can lead to deterioration, reduced structural performance & costly remediation. Cover depth can be assessed using non-destructive methods, with verification available through targeted destructive testing where required.

Voids, honeycombing & areas of segregation may be assessed using 2D or 3D scanning techniques, depending on the level of detail required & site conditions.

Concrete strength can be evaluated using destructive methods such as core sampling, or non-destructive methods such as Schmidt Hammer testing, depending on project requirements & engineering direction.
